Outlook Ext Draft Prototype Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 28, 2026
1. Overview
Outlook Ext Draft Prototype is a Chrome extension prototype that creates visible, editable draft emails inside Outlook on the web. This policy explains how the extension handles data.
2. Data Handling
The extension runs locally in the user's Chrome browser on Outlook Web pages. It can read and modify the active Outlook Web page only to create a visible draft in the compose surface.
The prototype does not collect, sell, transfer, or store user data on an external server. It does not use Microsoft Graph, OAuth, analytics, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or remotely hosted code.
3. Email Drafts
Draft content entered through the extension is inserted into Outlook Web for the user to review and edit. The extension does not send email automatically.
4. Permissions
The extension requests only the permissions needed for the prototype:
- Outlook Web host permissions allow the content script to run on Outlook Web pages and insert visible drafts.
- Tab and active tab permissions allow the toolbar popup to communicate with the active Outlook Web tab.
- Local storage is used only for extension installation metadata.
5. Data Sharing
The extension does not share user data with SOWARDS.AI, third parties, advertising networks, or analytics providers.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated as the prototype changes. Updates take effect when posted on this page.
